We work hard but we also know when to take a break. Pete and I worked most of Saturday at home, and then we went out for dinner at Amici on Elmwood. It was fantastic to be out after getting so much done this week, but we couldn't help but notice how the staff were hustling to make our experience at Amici so great. We were at play while they were at work. Running a small business is hard. It's a lot of work. So much work! I'm so grateful that our business is able to be up and running this summer, and I know that not everyone else can open fully. Let's all remember to support our small businesses when we can. I'm sure Pete and I will be back to Amici soon, we had a great night there! Plus, it feels good to support our local small businesses as best we can.
